Job Summary and Qualifications We are currently recruiting for a Food & Nutrition Clerk to join our team As our FANS Clerk, you will be responsible for processing menus and diet orders pertaining to the nutritional care and food service of all patients. We want you to apply now What you will do in this role: You will assist Dietitians in screening of all new admissions and obtaining food preferences. + You will maintain computer systems accurately. + You will process, modify, collect and check patient menus. + You will participate in meal services and/or other production related duties as needed. + You will maintain effective communication with patient and families to ensure they stay informed of additional food item availability. + Maintains proactive and effective communication with dietary team. What Qualifications you will need: + Knowledge of basic principles of nutrition as related to modified diets preferred. + 1-2 yearsu2019 experience as a Diet Tech strongly preferred + Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 25 pounds + Strong customer service and listening skills + Ability to perform basic math functions + Ability to handle multiple priorities Benefits HCA Florida Blake Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
