Job Description The Graphic Designer II is responsible for developing high-quality graphics, animations, and visual media that support learning and communication objectives. As an individual contributor, this role partners closely with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to create engaging, innovative visual content using modern design techniques aligned with Alaska Airlinesu2019 branding and training standards. Bacheloru2019s degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Graphic Art, or a related discipline, or an additional two years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite and other design and animation software. Proficiency in image and graphic creation and manipulation. Experience with one or more eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 Suite or Adobe Captivate. Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills. Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design and animation projects or other digital media. Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and collaboration skills. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Ability to quickly assess the impact of changes on project scope and timelines and adjust workload accordingly. Ability to serve as a visual design consultant for instructional design and content development initiatives. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Recent professional certification in Graphic Design, Animation, or a related discipline. Experience in photography and videography. Strong working knowledge of web design.
