Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to in Duluth, Georgia. In this Contract position, you will play a key role in managing the accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment reconciliation, collections, and reporting. This role requires strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to maintain accuracy in financial records while ensuring compliance with company policies. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and distribute accurate invoices and reminder notices in coordination with service, parts, and equipment sales teams. u2022 Review customer agreements to ensure proper billing and address any discrepancies promptly. u2022 Reconcile customer payments, including checks, wire transfers, and credit card transactions, while maintaining accurate records. u2022 Monitor accounts receivable aging, implement effective collection strategies, and escalate unresolved accounts when necessary. u2022 Generate and update accounts receivable aging reports, payment status updates, and collection progress for management. u2022 Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing, payments, and discrepancies, ensuring a high level of satisfaction. u2022 Collaborate with sales, finance, and customer service teams to resolve disputes and optimize processes. u2022 Maintain accurate documentation for invoices, payments, and communications while adhering to compliance standards. u2022 Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, audits, and preparation of required financial documentation. u2022 Support ad hoc projects and data governance efforts, including creating and maintaining customer master records.
