As a Full Time Engagement Professional the more diverse your background the better The ideal Accounts Payable Specialist should have experience with full cycle AP, 3 way matching, Batching invoices, Coding invoices and high volume processing of Payables. The Accounts Payable Specialist should have knowledge of many aspects of the AP process and duties including expense reporting and vendor set up. For this position you should have experience with reconciling payables to the sub ledger, any experience preparing journal entries is a big plus. Role & Responsibilities u2022 Matching, Batching, Coding, and entering invoices u2022 Posting and Reconciling Batches u2022 Researching and resolving exceptions u2022 Updating and reconciling the sub-ledger to the General Ledger u2022 Maintain capital lease and monthly payment schedules u2022 Utilizing V-Lookups and Pivot Tables in a recent version of Excel. Requirements: This Position requires u2022 A diverse background and a willingness to learn u2022 Technical knowledge and experience working in large accounting packages u2022 Strong Microsoft Excel Skills u2022 3+ years of experience in accounting u2022 A willingness to adapt to different environments and situations Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of detail-oriented experience in accounts payable or accounting. u2022 Proficiency in large accounting software systems and tools. u2022 Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups. u2022 Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, including coding invoices and ACH transactions. u2022 Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and diverse situations. u2022 Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. u2022 Familiarity with high-volume invoice processing and vendor management. u2022 Experience preparing journal entries and reconciling payables to sub-ledgers is a plus.
