Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a metal recycling facility. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing daily maintenance operations to keep equipment running safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities for all machinery and equipment Work with electrical and hydraulic systems (experience required) Troubleshoot and repair shredders, conveyors, balers, and other recycling machinery Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules Ensure a safe work environment and compliance with safety standards Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory Collaborate with operations to align maintenance priorities with production needs Lead, train, and support the maintenance team Qualifications: Proven experience in industrial maintenance; metal recycling experience a plus Strong electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills Ability to lead and train a team effectively Having your own tools is a big plus Solid communication and organizational skills
