Job Summary and Responsibilities Obtains moderately complex financial information regarding patients from various sources to obtain payment plan agreements and Medicare coverage. + Interviews customers for data retrieval + Abstracts medical information necessary from the mother's and baby's chart for completion of the birthcertificate form + Retains and understands federal, state, and county regulations as it pertains to birth registry + Completes Paternity Acknowledgements submitted to the state + Locates and orders medical charts when necessary + Reports Immunizations via EBC program Job Requirements Required High School Graduate/GED Six months of customer serviceexperience in finance, physician office or clinic, insurance, banking, etc Basic Life Support - CPR Preferred High School GED One year relevant experience in hospital environment Where You'll Work At Dignity Healthu2019s Arizona General Hospital, we deliver humankindness through a wide range of health, social and support services in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona.
