Description Senior Accountant ? Houston, TX ? Midstream Oil & Gas Industry Overview: A growing midstream company in Houston is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This role offers strong visibility across the business, working closely with accounting and finance leadership. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to take ownership in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: + Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy across balance sheet accounts + Prepare and post journal entries during the monthly close process + Support and actively participate in month-end close activities + Handle cash reconciliations and monitor daily cash activity + Assist with audit support, including preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests + Help develop and improve processes and procedures to drive efficiency and accuracy + Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and finance teams Requirements Experience Requirements: + Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or Finance + 3u20135 years of experience in accounting or finance + Masteru2019s degree or CPA strongly preferred + Experience with JDE (JD Edwards), Cognos, or Hyperion + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills + Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset + Self-starter who is open to learning and taking ownership of responsibilities Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
