Diesel Mechanic responsibilities include:Job DescriptionEngine diagnostics and repairPreventative maintenanceBrake and suspension workTransmission: diagnosing, removing and rebuildingElectrical troubleshooting, wiring and repairsHydraulic systems, pumps, cylinders and valves and hosesHeavy-duty trucks, trailers and equipmentFabricate hosesProficiency with welding, torches etc.Roadside emergencyOnsite diagnostics and repairsDiesel MechanicDependable Over 3 years of hands-experience working on diverse equipment such as semi-trucks, light duty trucks, cars, construction equipment and forklifts. Dependable, detail-orientated, and committed to minimizing downtime and keeping equipment road-ready. Comfortable working independently in the field.Own toolsValid driver’s license, CDL a bonusAble to work flexible hours, Overtime as neededCustomer service skillsAvailable as mobile service when neededCapable of managing long active hours in workshop settingBending, lifting of heavy parts and physical work involvedExposure to outdoors in varying weather conditionsDiesel MechanicFor compliance purposes for NYS transparency, the expected salary range is $28.00 - $38.00.
