Job Description A global enterprise company is seeking a Senior Oracle Engineer to join their team This role is heavily focused on engineering and project-based work rather than daily operational support. The Senior Oracle Engineer will design and build processes that are handed off to other teams, define repeatable operational workflows, and play a key role in a large migration initiative. Responsibilities include performance tuning, backups, server builds, patching, and ensuring overall platform stability while maintaining strong DBA fundamentals. The role also involves contributing to development and build work, primarily supporting Oracle environments with limited exposure to PostgreSQL and oversight support for MySQL. The team operates in an Agile environment using Jira and collaborates closely with software engineers, testers, application specialists, and operations teams. The engineer will help ensure systems are designed consistently and provide incident support when needed. This role is based in Brazil, follows a standard 40-hour work week with occasional on-call rotation, and the permanent salary range is R$623,781.00.
