Description Growing New York City organization is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to lead and oversee the operations of a dynamic AR team in New York, New York. This role requires a strategic thinker who can supervise team members, manage processes for all customers, and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in collections, billing, and cash applications while fostering efficiency across the department. Responsibilities: u2022 Supervise the Accounts Receivable team. u2022 Manage collections for key accounts and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. u2022 Oversee billing and invoice processes, ensuring customers with multiple accounts can view all invoices seamlessly. u2022 Monitor aging reports and implement effective collection strategies to maintain healthy cash flow. u2022 Collaborate with the Controller to align department goals with broader organizational objectives. u2022 Provide hands-on support and guidance to team members, encouraging attention to detail and efficiency. u2022 Analyze AR performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement. Requirements u2022 5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable management or a related role. u2022 Proficiency in collections, cash applications, and billing functions. u2022 Strong knowledge of aging reports and lien processes. u2022 Ability to handle high volumes of checks and oversee lockbox operations. u2022 Proven ability to implement process improvements and drive operational efficiency.
