The technician works with other health professionals to provide comprehensive care to oncology and non-oncology infusion patients. Responsibilities may include coordination of equipment and supplies. The technician will have additional knowledge and skill in the ability to follow mixing formulations and the use of specialized compounding equipment, mixing techniques, and hazardous chemicals.
