Accounts Payable Accountant East Coast u2013 Fully Remote Temporary $34/hr Kelly is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to work with our client in the agricultural technology/biotechnology industry on a temporary basis u2013 starting immediately. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a global company that specializes in reducing food waste and enhancing supply chain efficiency The purpose of this role is to provide AP support for 1-4 months while the company goes through the lengthy process of hiring a permanent Senior AP Accountant. There is possibility that this role will stay on after the permanent hire has been finalized. There is also a slight chance that the right candidate could be considered for the permanent search itself. However, candidates must be comfortable with short-term temporary employment. The Accounts Payable Accountant will: + Validate 2-way/3-way matches, code to correct GL/cost center, resolve price/quantity discrepancies, reconcile GRIR accounts and route per DOA + Maintain vendor master data changes per policy; triage supplier inquiries and resolve disputes professionally + Reconciliation of vendor accounts + Collaborate with Procurement to improve vendor payment terms + Clean up vendor payment terms in SAP + Prepare weekly ACH/wire/check proposals (SAP), obtain required approvals, and coordinate releases with Treasury + Record pre-payments and ensure correct reconciliation with the vendor account and accounting reconciliations at month-end + Establish an error-proof process with Treasury and Accounting when manual payments (outside of ERP system on banking platforms) are made + Post AP journals (e.g., accruals), reconcile AP subledger/GR?IR, and provide AP aging analysis with variance commentary + Prepare 1099s and filing Qualifications: + 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a global multinational corporation + SAP experience required + Proficiency with Excel + Working knowledge of US GAAP, AP compliance, and SOD/controls concepts + Clear written/verbal communication; strong attention to detail; deadline driven + Strong analytical skills are required Interviews are happening now If qualified and interested, please apply to this posting ASAP or directly send your resume to .
