This is a hybrid position requiring proximity to one of our eligible officeu00a0locations which includeu00a0Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Columbus, Memphis,u00a0Milwaukee,u00a0Baltimore,u00a0Phoenixu00a0and cludesu00a0on call participationu00a0premium pay.u00a0u00a0 Sponsorship is not provided for this role.u00a0u00a0 Responsibilities:u00a0 + Ensureu00a0stabilityu00a0of standard technical implementations by working tou00a0patch andu00a0maintainu00a0solutions, systems, managedu00a0servicesu00a0and virtual environments that are sold to clientsu00a0 + Followu00a0vendoru00a0guidelines,u00a0processesu00a0and procedures to ensureu00a0system standards and stability areu00a0maintainedu00a0for client and internal environmentsu00a0 + Ensureu00a0appropriate documentationu00a0for platforms and proceduresu00a0isu00a0generated or updated asu00a0upgrades, standards, andu00a0migrations requireu00a0 + Communicate withu00a0clients and internal staffu00a0directlyu00a0to ensure expectations are set and thatu00a0appropriate attentionu00a0isu00a0being paidu00a0to clientu00a0trouble ticketsu00a0 Qualifications:u00a0 + 2+ years as a systems administrator or Technician responsible for Managed Service Provider (preferred) or Enterpriseu00a0 + Demonstrates a level of competency with many of the following technologies:u00a0 + Microsoft OS, SCCM, SCOM, and RDS applicationsu00a0 + Understanding ofu00a0virtualizationu00a0platforms (ESXiu00a0and AHV) and howu00a0to manage guest workloads deployed on these platforms.u00a0 + Disaster recovery technologiesu00a0 + Understanding of Data Protection technologies such as Cohesity and Commvaultu00a0 + Basic UNIX commands (primary focus on Red Hat and Ubuntu)u00a0u00a0 + Basic networking principles,u00a0firewallu00a0rules, IP addressing and VLANsu00a0 + The ideal candidate mayu00a0possessu00a0one or multiple industry technical certifications from IT-related vendors like Microsoft, VMware, and Nutanixu00a0 Skills:u00a0 + Ability to prioritize and be productive in a fast-paced environmentu00a0 + Strong troubleshooting skills including the ability tou00a0identifyu00a0and resolve challenging situationsu00a0 + Excellent written and verbal communication skillsu00a0 + Outstanding service and response time working with clientsu00a0 + Passion for learning technologies and curious foru00a0new ideasu00a0 + Flexibility to be available foru00a0scheduledu00a0night and weekend implementation projects whenu00a0requiredu00a0 The listed salary range for this position is an estimate based on the competitive job market. True compensation will be based onu00a0a number ofu00a0variables, including your own experience and skills and what you bring to the role.
