JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are partnering with a well-establishedmanufacturing organization to hire a detail-oriented Staff Accountant.This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional whoenjoys working across operations, finance, and shared services whilecontributing to accurate financial reporting and process improvement.This is a long-term temporary contract role with the possibility to behired on by the company. Apply now Accountant Responsibilities: -Assisting with monthly financial close and preparing reports inaccordance with GAAP - Participating in AR review meetings andsupporting collections activity - Coordinating with shared services toensure accuracy in accounts payable - Researching and resolving customerdiscrepancies - Preparing daily, weekly and monthly management reports -Assisting with inventory tracking, reconciliation and annual physicalcounts - Maintaining accurate general ledger records and processingjournal entries - Supporting reconciliation of asset and liabilityaccounts - Preparing audit documentation for internal and externalauditors - Assisting with fixed asset tracking, depreciation schedules,and cycle counts - Identifying and contributing to processimprovements - Providing on-site operational accounting support asneeded - Participating in special projects assigned by Financeleadership OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - 1-3+ yearsof progressive accounting experience (manufacturing experiencepreferred) - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field stronglypreferred - Solid understanding of general ledger functions, AR,inventory accounting and financial reporting - High attention to detailwith strong organizational and problem-solving skills - Excellentcommunication skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meetdeadlines - Professionalism, integrity, and the ability to work withstakeholders at all levels - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: Apply Online:This position is listed by aprivate employment agency.
