Description Carnegie Mellon University, School of Drama invites applications for a full-time, two-semester Special Visiting Faculty in the area of Lighting Design. Responsibilities include teaching within the BFA Conservatory and MFA programs in Lighting Design and advising students in production. Courses may include content ranging from applying basic design skills in lighting to high-level application of lighting skills in specialized areas. The start date is in August 2026 with an end date in May 2027. Qualifications Candidate should hold an MFA or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of 1-2 years previous teaching experience is desired. PLEASE NOTE: Applicants for this position must be currently legally authorized to work for CMU in the United States. CMU will not sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this opportunity.
