This role combines warehouse responsibilities with customer service support. Responsibilities: 1. Warehouse Operations: u00a0 u00a0- Repack or re-box cases per customer instructions. Operate shrink-wrap machine if required. u00a0u00a0 - Receive, count, and inspect inbound shipments accurately. u00a0 u00a0- Safely unload shipments and move products to appropriate storage locations, utilizing forklift if qualified. u00a0 u00a0- Maximize space usage in storage areas and ensure proper stock rotation. u00a0 u00a0- Pick orders accurately and transport them to shipping locations using material handling equipment. u00a0 u00a0- Verify outbound shipments for accuracy and completeness. u00a0 u00a0- Maintain equipment and assigned areas in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. u00a0 u00a0- Keep accurate inventory records, assist in physical inventories, and cycle counts. u00a0 u00a0- Repack or re-box cases per customer instructions. Operate shrink-wrap machine if required. u00a0 u00a0- Must be able to lead, train and coordinate warehouse contract labor to execute all functions according to Expeditors operational excellence expectations 2. Customer Service Support: u00a0 u00a0- Process and input customer orders and distribution accounts accurately. u00a0 u00a0- Generate necessary paperwork and information for work orders. u00a0 u00a0- Run stock reports to check product availability. u00a0 u00a0- Provide accurate and timely daily operational reports. u00a0 u00a0- Conduct invoicing and handle billings with associated documentation. u00a0 u00a0- Coordinate special shipping requests with relevant departments. u00a0 u00a0- Trace orders and notify customers of any updates. u00a0 u00a0- Maintain excellent working relationships with customers, promptly responding to inquiries and resolving complaints. u00a0 u00a0- Handle returned merchandise efficiently and ensure proper credit is given to the customer. u00a0 u00a0- Assist with clerical tasks, filing, and research. u00a0 u00a0- Support DST Supervisor in keeping and updating SOPs, process checklists and training guides u00a0 - Education: High school degree preferred. - Experience: Minimum 6 months or more in a warehouse-related role and minimum 2 years in a customer service support role, preferably with inventory control and/or distribution operations experience. - Knowledge/Skills: Basic math, reading, and writing abilities. Proficiency in software applications such as MS Word and MS Excel. Good communication skills. Typing speed of 30 wpm and 10-key proficiency. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs - Special Requirements: Excellent work habits. Background check may be required based on location.
