Student Resource Center Coordinator (CARES ARC) POSITION DETAILS The CARES Access Resource Center (ARC) Coordinator is responsible for providing outreach and case management to prospective and current students seeking non-academic support services. These services include financial counseling, SNAP and HRA benefits intake and screening, housing support, legal counseling, emergency grant assistance, and food pantry services. The CARES ARC Coordinator guides students through various application processes, processes submitted applications, refers students to external service providers for legal and financial counseling, and assists with all food pantry operations (including receiving, distribution, inventory, and marketing of ARC events). Major Responsibilities (Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed) u2022 Report to the CARES u2013 Counseling and Resources for Emergency Support / ARC u2013 Access Resource Center Manager within the Division of Student Success. u2022 Conduct intakes and assessments for ARC students. u2022 Prepare, review, and monitor Petrie, SNAP, and other benefit applications. u2022 Maintain, monitor, and document all student data, contacts, referrals, and outcomes in the database; provide reports as needed. u2022 Assist with all food pantry tasks (receiving, distribution, inventory, marketing, etc.) u2022 Support program research, development, and assessment; participate in ongoing trainings (both on-site and off-site); and contribute to peer learning systems. u2022 Supervise and support interns and work-study students assigned to the CARES office. u2022 Develop and maintain positive relationships with referring agencies. some evenings and weekend work may be required. QUALIFICATIONS Bacheloru2019s degree required. Preferred Qualifications: Bacheloru2019s degree in Social Work, Business, or a related field.
