House people should take pride in providing exceptional guest experiences by ensuring the hotel common areas are properly cleaned and maintained.This is a Full-Time (5 days per week) position, with the flexibility to work 3pm-11pm. Days will vary including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility is required.u00a0Starting Rate: $17.00/hr. Potential for increase is based on experience.Areas of responsibility for our Houseperson include:- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all public areas, including hallways, stairwells, elevators, restrooms, and lobby areas.- Remove trash from public spaces and housekeeping carts.- Deliver, stock, and organize linens and housekeeping supplies.- Perform heavy cleaning tasks and assist with moving furniture when needed.- Operate, clean, and maintain housekeeping equipment safely.- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store linens according to standards.- Identify, treat, and separate stained or damaged linens; track counts of all linen types.- Keep laundry and storage areas clean and organized.- Report malfunctioning equipment immediately.- Assist with guest room cleaning and ensure proper linen levels when required.- Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.- Use chemicals and equipment properly and report unsafe conditions.- Maintain reliable attendance, professionalism, and proper uniform appearance.- Support sustainability initiatives and assist team members as needed.- Other duties as assigned.u00a0Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent preferredu00a0- Reading, math, and communication skills- The ability to work in both a team environment and independently- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a frequent basis- Availability to holidays and weekends is required- Adhere to brand and company standardsWorking for The High Companies:At High Hotels co-workers always come first.
