This position can be located in Huntsville, AL or Roy, UT . What you will get to do: u2022 Assist with the design of, as well as configure and maintain, infrastructure and/or cloud resources necessary to reliably host, run, and support applications through all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC). u2022 Create and maintain continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. u2022 Write scripts and configurations to automate software testing, deployment, and maintenance in a manner consistent with software engineering best practices u2022 Proactively monitor build and deployment pipelines and infrastructure, apply patches, troubleshoot issues, and resolve errors. u2022 Automate infrastructure and/or cloud resource deployments and configuration using infrastructure-as-code tools. u2022 Remediate findings from vulnerability scanning and penetration testing. u2022 Informally mentor other staff in DevOps concepts and processes. u2022 Work with peers and business partners to identify workflows or processes where automation can improve efficiency and or reduce costs. u2022 Provide Application support, configuration, installation and troubleshooting u2022 Troubleshoot technical issues, identify the cause, determine possible resolutions, and remediate issues in existing applications u2022Serve as Product Owner managing priorities, scope and schedule, as needed u2022 Directly support the SDE Architect by understanding the architecture, design, requirements, and execution details to be able to communicate the key elements to the Product Owners, Assignment Managers, Scrum masters, and element lead. - Participate as a stakeholder in the software engineering rigor processes to ensure SDE tasks and board submittal processes represent the desired end qualities of the SDE managerial and technical leadership. Youu2019ll Bring These Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s Degree with 12 years of relevant experience; 10 Years with Masters; 8 Years with PhD; or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. u2022 Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years. u2022 Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval u2022 4 years experience with build tools (i.e., Maven, Ant, GNU make) and/or continuous integration environments (i.e., Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo) and/or repositories (i.e. Nexus, JFROG) in a Linux environment. u2022 4 years experience of Microsoft and Linux Red Hat operating system. u2022 4 years experience with scripting languages (i.e. PERL, Python, Bash, YAML). u2022 4 years experience with container orchestration and container technologies (i.e. Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift)Experience with Virtualization Technologies for CI/CD pipelines. u2022 Ability to obtain Northrop Grumman Cost Account Management (CAM) certification with 3 months of hire Preferred u2022 2 years experience with Jira/Confluence in an Agile environment. These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in a STEM field of study. u2022 Experience as a Product Owner or other technical leadership position in an Agile environment. Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). u2022 Experience with automation/configuration management using either Ansible, Chef or equivalent. u2022 Experience with source code configuration management tools (i.e git). u2022 Experience with HashiCorp Packer and Vault. u2022 Familiarity with container hardening and SBOM u2022 Previous experience with Cost Account Management (CAM) and Earned Value u2022 Certified Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Product Owner u2022 Proven ability to help solve problems or conflicts within teams u2022 Proven ability to hold team members accountable to complete work based on approved technical architecture, on schedule and within budget u2022 Detailed and team oriented with excellent interpersonal communication, leadership and organizational skills. u2022 Strong critical thinking and logical reasoning skills with the ability to solve issues u2022 IAT Level II certification (e.g. Security + CE) or ability to obtain within 6 months. #SentinelSoftware Primary Level Salary Range: $152,900.00 - $229,300.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
