Metallurgical EngineerWe are seeking a motivated Metallurgical Engineer to support and optimize copper processing operations across flotation, leaching, solvent extraction, and this role, you will work alongside experienced metallurgists and operations leaders to analyze plant performance, improve recovery, and drive continuous process improvements. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer who wants hands-on exposure in an active mineral processing environment and the opportunity to make measurable operational impact.Key ResponsibilitiesData Analysis and ReportingAnalyze laboratory and plant data to identify trends and optimization opportunitiesPrepare clear, actionable reports with findings and recommendationsProcess OptimizationPartner with operations and senior metallurgists to improve recovery, reduce costs, and enhance product qualitySupport implementation of plant improvement initiativesTroubleshooting and Technical SupportAssist in diagnosing process inefficiencies and equipment challengesSupport root cause analysis and corrective actionsQuality and ComplianceMonitor product quality and support quality control protocolsEnsure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standardsContinuous Improvement and InnovationStay current on metallurgical advancements and emerging technologiesContribute to research and development efforts to enhance process performanceWork EnvironmentThis position operates in both office and active processing plant environments. The role requires working outdoors in varying seasonal conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow.The facility is an operating copper processing plant. Exposure to industrial conditions such as slurry, dust, chemicals, and noise is expected.
