Description We are looking for an experienced Litigation Associate to join a dynamic law firm in Boston, Massachusetts. This role focuses on commercial litigation, with a strong preference for candidates who have expertise in construction-related disputes. Responsibilities: u2022 Represent clients in commercial and construction litigation matters, ensuring effective legal strategies and advocacy. u2022 Draft persuasive motions, pleadings, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail. u2022 Conduct thorough legal research to support case arguments and develop sound strategies. u2022 Manage complex litigation cases, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation. u2022 Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and legal guidance throughout the litigation process. u2022 Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative solutions for challenging legal issues. u2022 Analyze case law and statutes to identify relevant precedents and strengthen arguments. u2022 Negotiate settlements when appropriate to resolve disputes efficiently. u2022 Attend court hearings and trials, presenting arguments with professionalism and confidence. u2022 Maintain compliance with all legal and ethical standards while representing clients. Requirements u2022 Must be a licensed attorney in good standing. u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience handling commercial litigation cases. u2022 Demonstrated expertise in drafting motions, pleadings, and other legal documents. u2022 Strong background in complex commercial litigation, including case management and trial preparation. u2022 Preferably experienced in construction-related litigation. u2022 Excellent legal research and analytical skills. u2022 Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and team members. u2022 Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
