Apartment Maintenance Technician Happy Valley Oregon Pay Rate: Starting at $25/hour, with potential increases based on experience Are you skilled in maintenance, passionate about problem-solving, and looking for a long-term opportunity to make a difference? Join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Technician and help us maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming community for all. What You’ll Do Perform property maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, painting, appliance repair, pool/spa upkeep, grounds maintenance, and more. Quickly and efficiently prepare vacant apartments to be rent-ready according to company timeframes. Respond to maintenance requests on an immediate or on-call basis, including after business hours when needed. Identify and report property issues, ensuring the community is always in great physical condition. Operate safely when using equipment such as ladders, power tools, and hazardous materials to protect both residents and employees. Collaborate with the Resident Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to follow company policies and improve your skills through training opportunities. Required Experience A minimum of 2 years of experience in residential maintenance is required. Strong knowledge of basic maintenance tasks, such as appliance repair, painting, grounds upkeep, and pool/spa maintenance. 1 year of experience in pool maintenance. Someone physically capable of frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds as part of the job. Valid driver’s license required for traveling to and from job sites. What We Offer Competitive Pay: Starting at $25/hour, with higher rates for those with relevant experience and expertise. Day Shift Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break.
