Job Description

Murex North America Inc. seeks a Consulting Manager in New York, NY. Duties:1. Provide consulting services to Murex clients in the domain of system integration, business intelligence, anddata flows through the entire lifecycle of the Murex product.2. Client supporta. Supervise support activity within a virtual/operational team and identify and escalate issues appropriately.b. Be the first level of escalation and expert intervention on client issues.c. Manage upgrades; Contribute to decommissioning tactical solutions through more stable long-term solutions.d. Provide extraordinary support when required (outside regular hours) to clients.e. Ensure internal systems (CRM, KYC, KYI, etc.) and documentation are up to date with solutions provided.3. MX.3 Implementation Projects:a. Lead scoping and design workshopsb. Act as stream lead for their own Enterprise Integration/Customization workstreami. Design, build, deliver, review, test, and help support the interfaces, data extractions, reports, and data pipelinesthe Murex clients need to support their operations on the MX.3 platform.ii. Deliver a robust technical and functional solution that answers client business requirements, ensuring itsmaintainability, scalability, andtestability.iii. Manage the configuration of the MX.3 database and document the solution, configuration, and testing.iv. Manage enhancement requests and scope changes.v. Supervise integrator partners to be fully accountable for their deliverables.vi. Keep the Project Manager and Client Managers updated on workstream progress, issues, and blockers;monitor emerging project risks andrecommend mitigations.c. Validation (responsibility & ownership for own work streams):i. Define testing procedures and protocolsii. Responsible for the quality of their deliveriesiii. Run UAT workshops and assist users with UAT, Performance testing, and Integration SITd. Deploymenti. Conduct training sessions, Train the trainers and end users, and educate the client on the best use of the systemii. On-site assistance during dress rehearsals, go-lives, and post-go-live support.e. Thorough understanding MXpress, FEM, and other MUREX initiatives.4. Client Management:a. Professionally manage client relationships.b. Develop a network of contacts within the client organization by building relationships with client supportteams and end users.c. Understand and anticipate client's needs to ensure their satisfaction.d. Address client needs based on mastery of the Murex platform and client activitye. Follow technical and functional advances with the clients.f. Determine priorities and manage timelines; track and deliver (configuration, binary fixes) as agreed with theclient, considering project and product division constraintsg. Understand how and when to hold firm with a client while managing to resolve potential conflict and providetactical solutions (technical debt) thatwould require later follow-up.5. Product Managementa. Contribute to capitalization based on client knowledge and acquired expertise.b. Drive an internal product evolution stream.i. Gather client requirements and feedback on the product, corresponding to the client context and businessvalues, and review the client's businessrequirements.ii. Ensure timely feedback to the Product division on all aspects: business, technical/NFR, and deploymentscalability.iii. Consolidate requirements and feedback with other regions and nurture relationships within a working teamand between organizations.iv. Centralize inputs to the Product division based on product demos.v. Define acceptance criteria to ensure instances of upgradability.vi. points within Client Services for the region6. Prepare and contribute to pre-sales demonstrations to prospects:a. Participate in responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs).Telecommuting is permitted Requires a Bachelors degree in Com
