Reporting to the Director for Operations, you will oversee compliance, reporting, and performance tracking across federal, state, and local funding sources.You will collaborate closely with attorneys, leadership, and administrative teams while serving as a key liaison to external funders.Key ResponsibilitiesGrants & Compliance ManagementMaintain accurate, up-to-date grant records and ensure compliance with all funding requirementsTrack reporting deadlines and ensure timely submission of all grant deliverablesManage logistics for monitoring visits and compliance reviews by fundersData & ReportingUtilize LASP’s case management system (LegalServer) to track performance and generate reportsCompile and analyze qualitative and quantitative data for grant reportingPrepare and distribute compliance reports to managing attorneysProposal & Reporting SupportAssist in drafting and submitting grant proposals, reports, and related documentsGather information from staff and partners for funding applications and reportsMaintain organized electronic and hard copy grant filesCollaboration & CommunicationServe as liaison between LASP and external funders and stakeholdersCoordinate with finance, development, and program teams on grant-related activitiesMaintain internal calendars for reporting, invoicing, and grant cyclesTraining & Process ImprovementIdentify compliance issues and help implement solutionsDevelop and deliver staff training on grant and compliance topicsRecommend system and process improvements to enhance efficiencyGeneral SupportAssist with research and preparation of proposals and supporting materialsManage multiple projects and priorities to meet deadlinesPerform other duties as assignedWhat You Need to SucceedKey Competencies✔ Strong organizational and project management skills✔ Excellent written and verbal communication✔ Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities✔ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines✔ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams✔ High level of integrity and commitment to ethical standardsQualificationsBachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination)Experience with data analysis, reporting, and database systemsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)Experience extracting and analyzing large data setsPreferred:Project management experience in a nonprofit settingBackground in finance or accounting, accounting degree, and/or JDEqual Opportunity EmployerLASP is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity, and sexual orientation), national origin, age (40 or older), disability, genetic information, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law.All employment decisions are based on qualifications, merit, and organizational needs.USD $72,500.00 - USD $83,750.00 /Yr.
