You will alsoconductindustry monitoring to flag any trends, issues,and media coverage reports for clients,including during a crisis,toorganize the team with necessary agendas, action items,and reports.You will be deeply involved in crisis, reputation,andissuesmanagement situationsrequiringattention to detail andcritical and analytical thinking skills. Weseekan individual with prior experience, astrong interest in this field,andsomeone whoenjoys working in afast-pacedand sometimes unpredictable environment.Assistin providing strategic counsel on messaging and communicationsto help inform client strategies and recommendations.Execute issues management and crisis campaignsfor clients.Execute public affairs, advocacy, and education campaigns for clients.Maintainup-to-dateknowledge of client affairs and trends tocounselclients on breaking news and socially or culturally sensitive topics.Support the development of crisis response strategies, reactive statements, FAQs,and other deliverables as needed.Produce monthly or weekly reports outlining key activities and initiatives.Provide analysisonkey issues that are critical to a client’s needs.Promote and uphold Allison’score values;participatein agency-wide training and professional development programs.Assistant Account Executives at Allison typically have at least1+years of experienceas an account coordinatorin crisis communications or anequivalentin a related field.Experience in an agency/strategic consulting firm, politicaloffice,public affairs, advocacy,law firm,or similarsettinginterest or background strongly preferred.Strong writing skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-orientedenvironmentWorks independently on assignments, as directed.Self-motivated, eager to learn,and enthusiastic aboutthe work.Strong attention to detail.Takes direction well, asks clarifying questions,and follows through on required deadlines.Prior experience working in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint,and Excel alongside Zoom and Microsoft Teams.Proficiencyin using media monitoring and data analytics tools likeMuckrack, Critical Mention, Meltwater,andCision.
