Connect with CHI today!What you will do:Supervises, coaches, and reviews the performance of laboratory personnelOversees designated laboratory day-to-day operations and administers lab inventoriesAnalyzes and interprets lab results in accordance with laboratory work processesSelection of test methodology that is appropriate for the clinical use of the test resultsVerification of the test procedures performed and establishment of the laboratory's test performance characteristicsEnrollment and participation in an HHS approved proficiency testing programEstablishing a quality control program appropriate for the testing, establishing the parameters for acceptable levels of performance, and ensuring that these levels are maintained throughout the testing processResolving technical problems and ensuring that remedial actions are taken whenever test systems deviate from performance specificationsEnsuring that patient test results are not reported until all corrective actions have been taken and the test system is functioning properlyIdentifying training needs and assuring that each individual performing tests receives appropriate regular in-service training and educationQualify and function as the CLIA defined Technical Consultant, evaluate the competency of all testing personnel, and assure that the staff maintain their competencyWhat you will need:Bachelor’s Degree in biological or chemical science as defined by CLIAMinimum 5 years experience in a moderate to high complexity labPreferred: 1 or more years supervisory experienceASCP certification in MT or MLS or CLS
