Details discussed during the interview process.We are seeking aMedical Surgical Registered Nurse,sometimes referred to asaMedSurgeRN.These Registered Nurses (RN)playan important rolein our hospital by providing comprehensive care to patients who are recovering from surgery, managing acute and chronic illnesses, or undergoing diagnostic procedures. For more information visit www.prmctx.com.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):Conduct thoroughinitialassessments and ongoing evaluations of patients' physical, emotional, and mental healthMonitor vital signs, intake/output, and other clinical indicators to detect changes in patient conditionsRecognize and act on warning signs of deterioration, such as changes in heart rate, respiratory rate, or mental statusSafely administer prescribed medications (oral, IV, subcutaneous, intramuscular) andmonitorfor adverse effects or allergic reactionsAct as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure the patient's needs are metProvidepatienteducation on their condition, treatment options, and lifestyle adjustments to support recovery and prevent readmission.Communicate effectively with doctors, specialists, physical therapists, and social workers to develop and adjust care plansEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING1. Current and valid state RN License.2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.3. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.4. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.5. Ventilator Management experience preferred.6.
