Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Oakdale, California. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop their accounting skills, with opportunities for growth and hands-on experience in various financial processes. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audits, and contributing to the overall efficiency of accounting operations. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and analyze journal entries for the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded. u2022 Reconcile bank accounts monthly and provide detailed balance sheet summaries through roll-forward analyses. u2022 Accurately record expense allocations, monthly amortizations, and other financial adjustments. u2022 Manage accruals and reconcile loan interest to ensure proper tracking and reporting. u2022 Support year-end and annual close processes, including audit preparation and documentation. u2022 Participate in month-end close activities and assist with special accounting projects as needed. u2022 Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team to ensure seamless financial operations. u2022 Document accounting procedures and contribute to ongoing process improvements. u2022 Handle additional administrative and accounting tasks while gaining expertise in company-specific practices. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred; relevant experience may be considered as an alternative. u2022 Strong proficiency in Excel and other Office applications. u2022 Familiarity with NetSuite software is highly desirable. u2022 Prior internship experience in accounting or finance is preferred, but not required. u2022 Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. u2022 Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. u2022 Solid communication skills, both written and verbal. u2022 Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting processes and systems.
