Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will manage daily financial operations, ensure accurate record-keeping, and maintain strong relationships with vendors. This position requires a proactive approach to handling multiple accounts and facilitating smooth payment processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions. u2022 Perform data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date financial records. u2022 Process invoices and verify their accuracy before payments. u2022 Coordinate with vendors to address inquiries and ensure smooth communication. u2022 Oversee multiple bank accounts, including performing bank verifications and reconciliations. u2022 Handle payment processing duties, ensuring compliance with company policies. u2022 Generate and review financial reports to support business operations. u2022 Assist with administrative tasks related to finance and accounting. u2022 Utilize Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics software for financial management and reporting. Requirements u2022 At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. u2022 Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. u2022 Strong data entry skills with attention to detail. u2022 Experience in invoice processing and verification. u2022 Familiarity with Great Plains Dynamics or similar financial software. u2022 Excellent organizational and time management abilities. u2022 Strong communication skills for vendor coordination. u2022 Ability to handle multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
