Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Warrendale, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will oversee full-cycle accounting processes, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements. You will collaborate with various business partners to support budgeting, forecasting, and operational assessments, while also contributing to the safeguarding of company assets. Responsibilities: u2022 Perform full-cycle accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and managing foreign currency translations. u2022 Serve as a key business partner to program leads by providing financial analysis for budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision-making. u2022 Handle complex accounting projects such as product profitability analysis, investment accounting, and tax filings. u2022 Prepare and deliver financial presentations and analyses for executive teams, finance committees, and board meetings. u2022 Provide support during external audits by preparing necessary documentation and reconciling discrepancies. u2022 Monitor and analyze financial transactions to ensure compliance and safeguard company assets. u2022 Utilize advanced tools such as NetSuite and PowerBI to streamline accounting processes and generate actionable insights. u2022 Independently audit and resolve issues related to asset and liability accounts on a monthly basis. u2022 Assist in consolidating financial data from multiple entities for accurate reporting. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field. u2022 2 to 4 years of experience in accounting or financial operations. u2022 Proficiency in generally accepted accounting principles and ability to work under tight deadlines. u2022 Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with PowerBI and NetSuite. u2022 Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff across all levels. u2022 Ability to independently manage complex tasks and projects. u2022 Experience with corporate tax returns, journal entries, and general ledger operations. u2022 Previous experience in public accounting or similar environments.
