We are looking for a driven, well organized Senior Project Architecture Professional to grow with our team.As a Senior Project Architecture Professional you will lead architecture teams from Concept Design through Construction, as well as provide technical support to our Jacobs Architecture Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as they develop feasibility studies, concept designs, and masterplans.We are looking for someone who is comfortable working directly with clients. A person who has a firm grasp of building codes, and construction detailing, as well as excellent organizational skills and proficiency in Revit. An individual who is able to take design concepts and follow through with the necessary construction documentation, as well as coordinate with in-house engineering disciplines.Bring your creativity, ambitious spirit, and extreme attention to detail, and weu2019ll help you grow, pursue, and fulfill what drives you - so we can deliver extraordinary solutions for a better tomorrow, together. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree or higher-level degree from an accredited Architecture school.u2022 Minimum of 15 years of applicable professional experience.u2022 Licensed architect.u2022 Focus on Life Sciences projects with specific experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing projects - demonstrating ability to organize and lead an architectural team through the implementation of the project process from design through construction.u2022 Technical knowledge with a solid understanding of construction detailing and constructability, as well as specifications.u2022 Advanced understanding of structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and other building engineering systems and their interrelationships in Life Sciences projects.u2022 Command of building codes and other regulatory requirements.u2022 Experience performing construction administration activities - responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, preparing field observation reports, and punchlisting.u2022 Ability to coordinate within a multi-disciplinary team structure - including engaging virtually with team members in different geographic locations.u2022 Willingness to work in a hybrid environment with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.u2022 Ability to effectively balance multiple priorities; coordinating work with engineering disciplines and specialty consultants; independently as well as collaboratively.u2022 Experience supervising the work of other design professionals.u2022 Experience supervising the work of other design professionals.u2022 Strong interpersonal skills - speaking, writing, listening, including client presentation skills.u2022 Proficiency in Revit with advanced understanding of developing construction documentation deliverables through use of BIM.u2022 Proficiency in Navisworks and Revizto.u2022 Proficiency with MS Office, and PowerPoint, and Bluebeam Revu.u2022 United States Citizen.Ideally, Youu2019ll Also Have:u2022 Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards and cGMP requirements.u2022 Familiarity with LEED and / or sustainable strategies.u2022 Involvement in professional and /or community associations.u2022 Business development and marketing experience.u2022 Ability to contribute to the development of new ideas, techniques, and standards.#LifeSciences, #Bio/Pharma, #EPCMV, #globallifescience#LI-SH1Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
