Position Overview The Technical Lead is responsible for intermediate level set up and operation of small to large-scale audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment while ensuring complete customer satisfaction. This position reports to an Operations Manager, Operations Director, or Director of Event Technology. Key Job Responsibilities _Equipment Operation_ u2022 Responsible for accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of intermediate audiovisual equipment. u2022 Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly as they arise. u2022 Complies with all Company security and safety measures. u2022 Ensures equipment is secure from theft and/or damage when in use. _Customer Service_ u2022 Provides excellent service and strive to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers. u2022 Be a leader, mentor, and coach for other Technicians on Encoreu2019s Delivering World Class Service philosophy. u2022 Maintains a positive relationship with all clients through effective communication. u2022 Meets with guests on site to ensure that their needs are met, and the equipment setup is working properly. u2022 Monitors events and checks in on customers throughout the day. u2022 Understands and fosters the hotel/client relationship. _Technical Ability_ u2022 Understands the technical aspects of the job and demonstrates advanced operational ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with equipment and software issues. u2022 Anticipates equipment challenges and changes in a timely and professional manner. _Systems Knowledge_ u2022 Understands company processes, follows procedures, and completes systems entry and paperwork accurately. u2022 Uses the equipment sheets to determine the equipment scheduled for set up and for strike. u2022 Interacts with other staff and outside vendors for equipment. u2022 Increases revenue by utilizing floor up-selling techniques. u2022 Work with clients to finalize invoices. u2022 As needed, work within Encore systems and applications Job Qualifications u2022 High school diploma required, Associateu2019s degree is preferred. u2022 2-3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred. u2022 2-3+ years of audio-visual experience is required. u2022 A valid driveru2019s license is required for team members in positions that may operate Company vehicles. u2022 External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications required for this position, within 60 days of start date.
