Akima Logistics Services, LLC is looking for an experienced Project Analyst to support one of our aviation CLS programs. Responsibilities + Performs procurement functions using provided inventory management system and Costpoint. + Performs analytics using various program data, develops and produces reports to leadership regarding different program functions. + Communicates with vendors and suppliers regarding various efforts. + Performs research and analysis in the development of program or project activities for one or more programs. + Defines program requirements, identifies interdependencies with internal or external departments or service providers. + Develops and disseminates communications regarding the project or program status. + Tracks progress, adopts and provides ongoing reports to leadership/program sponsors. + Performs work under direct supervision. + Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. + Develops, produces, and submits various program deliverables in a complete and timely manner. + Supports Program/Project manager with various tasks as required. Qualifications + Must be a U.S. citizen. + Must be proficient in various computer applications (i.e., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). + Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills. + Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance when required. Desired Qualifications: + Undergraduate degree or higher with an emphasis in logistics, supply chain management or finance. + Experience with Costpoint or similar software. + Experience in logistics and supply chain with emphasis in the aviation industry is highly preferred. + Experience with preparing, formatting, and reviewing reports of various formats desired. + Experience working in a govt/military contracting environment highly preferred.
