MACHINE OPERATOR -- CUT-TO-LENGTH LINE$18.00 -- $20.00 TO STARTAKRON, OHLooking for a solid machine operator who knows their way around steel processing equipment. You'll be responsible for setup, operation, troubleshooting, and keeping production moving safely and efficiently.WHAT YOU'LL DO- Set up and operateu00a0Cut-To-Length (CTL) processing lines- Process stainless steel and aluminum from coil to finished sheets- Follow work orders and production schedules- Monitor product quality and ensure materials meet specifications- Mesure finished sheets usingu00a0tape measures, gauges, and micrometers- Troubleshoot machine issues and keep production running- Oversee line flow, scrap control, and support line workers- Perform basic machine maintenance when needed- Complete production documentation and job records- Operateu00a0forklifts/tow motors- Useu00a0overhead cranes (up to 30 tons)WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR- 1--3 years manufacturing or machine operation experience- Experience inu00a0steel processing or coil processingu00a0is a big plus- Ability to read work orders and production specs- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills- Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred- Willing to worku00a0occasional overtime (up to 10-hour days or Saturdays)EDUCATION- High School Diploma or GEDIf you're looking for au00a0hands-on manufacturing job with steady work and room to grow, this is a great opportunity in the Akron area.
