Job Summary: The Route Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team drivers, messengers, and guards that support and performs the Cash in Transit functions. This position ensures accountability and the security of all liability and prioritizes daily operations workflow. The CIT Supervisor assists the Manager in the secure, safe and efficient functioning of the armored car facility. This position functions in an armed environment. It also requires the enforcement of rules to protect the premises and property of Brinku2019s and its customers, as well as the safety of persons on the premises of Brinku2019s and its customers. Key Responsibilities: u2022 Provide first line supervision to CIT employees u2022 Oversee daily operations including but not limited to route efficiency, route scheduling, opening and closing of branch u2022 Maintain safe and secure environment with the goal of ensuring that all CIT employees work and return home safely u2022 Provide coaching and skill development to employees on a consistent basis u2022 Leverage systems, equipment and process redesign to drive continuous improvement u2022 Maintain and provide quality customer service u2022 Secure inventories by executing controls and ensuring strict compliance with security procedures; ensure implementation of measures to reduce workeru2019s compensation injury costs and security losses u2022 Ensure employees are in compliance with federal, state and local regulations required to perform their duties u2022 Assist Management as need to meet branch goals u2022 Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: u2022 Minimum of 3 years operations experience in transportation and/or logistics u2022 Satisfy all applicable Department of Transportation requirements u2022 Minimum of 21 years of age u2022 A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing requirements u2022 A valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licenses u2022 Able to lift at least 50 pounds Preferred Qualifications: u2022 Previous experience as an armored car driver u2022 Knowledge of route analysis and logistics u2022 Knowledge of lean/process improvement methodologies u2022 Knowledge of budgeting and planning experience u2022 Bacheloru2019s Degree Professional Skills: u2022 Strong consultative, analytical and problem solving skills u2022 Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills Whatu2019s Next?
