The relationship of the adjunct faculty member to the student is one of teacher and facilitator of learning. Each adjunct is hired to guide students and facilitate learning in the clinical setting.Supervise a group of 6-8 CSU ABSN students onsite in the clinical settingGrade all course assignments and complete clinical evaluation paperworkClinical hours are typically 8-12 hours per dayCreate a supportive learning environment conducive to attainment of clinical objectivesDemonstrate professionalism, integrity, and ethics in the clinical settingPromote evidence-based practiceHold a minimum of 1-2 virtual office hours each week for gradingQualificationsMust have an active, unencumbered RN license in OhioBachelor's degree in Nursing requiredAt least 2 years of clinical experience in the subject areaMust have reliable transportation to clinical sites
