Job Description Our customer is seeking a hands-on Technical Trainer to design and deliver training for UAW-represented employees working in an automated machining environment. Technology on the shop floor has advanced rapidly, and equipment/process complexity now requires a dedicated trainer to accelerate skill development and standardize foundational machining knowledge across the workforce. This is a 1-year contract role located in Flint, MI, with potential extensions and 1 opening. Key Responsibilities: u2003u2022 Develop a training curriculum and learning materials to train UAW-represented employees in an automated machining environment. u2003u2022 Create and refine training content focused on (including, but not limited to): u2003u2003u25cb General dimensioning & tolerancing u2003u2003u25cb CNC fundamentals u2003u2003u25cb Gauging practices u2003u2022 Build classroom training and on-the-job training (OJT) materials; baseline content may be available for review and reuse in some areas. u2003u2022 Deliver training across all 3 production shifts, partnering with operations to plan sessions that meet production needs. u2003u2022 Develop and organize training materials to achieve clear learning results (e.g., structured modules, job aids, practical exercises, and knowledge checks).
