Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-driven Accounting Clerk to join our team. This role involves managing accounts receivable and payable processes while also handling credit management tasks to ensure financial stability and compliance. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and distribute customer invoices while accurately recording payments and reconciling customer accounts. u2022 Monitor overdue accounts, issue collection notices, and communicate with customers to resolve payment discrepancies. u2022 Process vendor invoices, match them with purchase orders, and manage timely payments via checks or wire transfers. u2022 Reconcile vendor statements, resolve invoice discrepancies, and maintain up-to-date vendor records. u2022 Evaluate customer credit applications, perform credit checks, and establish credit limits based on financial analysis. u2022 Monitor and enforce customer credit limits, collaborating with sales and leadership to approve or deny credit requests. u2022 Assist in month-end financial close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations. u2022 Provide documentation and reports for audits, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. u2022 Maintain organized records of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and credit management activities. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall finance operations and special projects. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting roles with a focus on accounts receivable and payable. u2022 Proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial software. u2022 Strong skills in data entry and invoice processing. u2022 Ability to perform financial reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy. u2022 Experience conducting credit checks and analyzing customer payment histories. u2022 Knowledge of accounting principles and compliance standards. u2022 Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage vendor and customer relationships. u2022 Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and adapt to dynamic financial operations.
