Prepare and check design deliverables including performance drawings, material selection, and material and construction specifications. Perform quality reviews for both internal and subcontractor deliverables. Prioritize work and manage multiple projects under budget and schedule constraints. Manage and develop project proposals, estimates, schedules, and bids. Evaluate structural and foundation design options and criteria for technical merit. Understand construction standards and requirements for high voltage line work, especially in the area of lattice tower construction. Coordinate with contractor and subcontractors to ensure client satisfaction. Find and manage subcontractor(s) for lattice tower detailing to supplement our US capabilities. Coordinate work between POWERs US team and WSPs CRC support. Oversee all new lattice tower design efforts. May work remotely throughout the U.S. Salary $254,404. Standard corporate benefits.Requirements: Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related plus 3 years of experience as a Civil Engineer, Design Engineer, or related. The business will accept a Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience, including experience below, in lieu of a Masters degree. Experience must include: Optimizing the design and structural drawings of lattice towers by leveraging in-depth knowledge of lattice tower manufacturing processes. Designing and testing lattice transmission tower families up to voltage levels of 500kV. Designing river crossing lattice transmission towers with heights ranging from 350 to 550 feet.
