Position summary:As part of the office of the registrar team, this position helps develop, implement, and is directly involved in an aggressive, comprehensive enrollment program. This position assists the Registrar with administrative duties and provides clerical support for both Admissions and Registrar Offices. Assist with registration processes, budget preparation, and catalog updates.Position Responsibilities:Assists the Registrar by maintaining appropriate budget, purchasing, and related filesAssists the Registrar with catalog updatesPrepares purchase requisitions for both Admissions and Registrar OfficesDrafting correspondence and subpoena responsesPrepare diploma mailout. Ensure all diplomas have correct name and degreeAssist the Registrar with state mandated reporting needs; resolves error reportsFile/scan all administrative/academic paperwork in students academic recordContributes to data accuracy and integrityAssist with transfer of college credit and TSI data entry and maintenance in the student information systemProvides general information about KC in both oral and written formats.Represent KC in a cordial, professional manner in both action and appearanceAssists with schedule changes including course additions, drops, and student withdrawalsPerforms routine office dutiesWorks directly with the KC Cashiers OfficeAssists students, faculty, and staff with specific records questionsContribute to the overall welcoming environment of KCOther duties as assignedMinimum Position Requirements: Associate degree required; bachelors degree preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and data entry requiredFamiliarity with the Poise or Jenzabar EX student information systems preferredEffective oral and written communications skills are a mustThis position requires the application of effective office procedures and organization skills as well as the ability to work independently and as a team member.The ability to work with diverse populations is necessaryThis position is designated as security sensitive and requires a criminal background checkSufficient dexterity, agility, and physical condition to perform routine office duties are necessary including the ability to lift a minimum of twenty pounds.Supervisory Responsibilities: 0 Full-Time Direct Reports 0 Part-Time Direct ReportsPhysical Demands and Work Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office and classroom environment.
