Logistics clerk also support supply chain functions like procurement, repair and distribution with various tasks and responsibilities. This position manages department website, office supplies, personnel vacation, travel support and some other administrative assistance. Some of the typical responsibilities of this position are -Manage request for quote (RFQ) to approved freight carriers; compares responses from freight providers and arranges/coordinates shipments.Review, audit and code freight invoices for approvals.Performs invoice reconciliation and manage invoice exceptions with suppliers.File and manage claims with freight carriers for lost or damaged shipments.Compile monthly supplier shipment report.Assist Logistics Manager and Analyst with supplier performance measurement activities.Manages internal logistics for the Inventory Logistics & Procurement Department.Job Requirements In this role, the Logistics Clerk mustBe able to work independently, and as a member of a team.Be proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office products.Have excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask are necessary.Who are we looking for?RequirementsMinimum age: 18High school diploma, GED, or international equivalentDemonstrated ability to communication effectively both orally and in writingPossess the legal right to work in the United StatesAble to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English languageSome travel might be requiredProficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office products preferredPlease note: The description is intended to provide a brief overview of the position.
