Description We are looking for a skilled Collections Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Greensboro, North Carolina. In this role, you will focus on managing accounts receivable and ensuring timely payment collection from commercial accounts. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills to handle financial processes effectively. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage and oversee accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment collection. u2022 Conduct outreach to commercial and consumer clients regarding outstanding balances and payment arrangements. u2022 Analyze account statements to identify discrepancies and resolve billing issues promptly. u2022 Implement effective collection strategies to minimize overdue accounts and improve cash flow. u2022 Maintain accurate records of client interactions and payment statuses in compliance with company policies. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to address credit-related concerns and streamline collection efforts. u2022 Prepare regular reports detailing collection activities and account statuses for management review. u2022 Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements throughout the collection process. u2022 Monitor and update systems with payment information to maintain accurate financial records. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in commercial and consumer collections, with a solid understanding of collection processes. u2022 Familiarity with accounts receivable management and billing collection procedures. u2022 Strong communication skills for effective client interactions and conflict resolution. u2022 Proficiency in analyzing financial data and resolving account discrepancies. u2022 Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously. u2022 Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory compliance in credit and collections. u2022 Experience using collection software and systems to track account activity. u2022 High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
