Description We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our team in Andover, Massachusetts. This Contract to permanent position is ideal for someone with a passion for maintaining precise financial records and streamlining accounting processes. The role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, utilizing tools such as Salesforce and Excel to support essential financial operations. Responsibilities: u2022 Perform accurate data entry to ensure the integrity of financial records and systems. u2022 Utilize Salesforce to manage and update financial and client-related information. u2022 Process invoices and oversee billing activities with precision and timeliness. u2022 Assist in reconciling accounts to maintain financial accuracy and compliance. u2022 Provide support for accounts payable operations, ensuring timely payments and resolving discrepancies. u2022 Maintain organized and detailed records to support audits and reporting needs. u2022 Collaborate with the accounting team to enhance processes and improve system efficiency. u2022 Use Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and generate reports. u2022 Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards in all tasks. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in data entry with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. u2022 Proficiency in Salesforce for managing financial or client-related data. u2022 Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and analyze spreadsheets. u2022 Familiarity with accounts payable and billing processes. u2022 Ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies effectively. u2022 Excellent organizational skills for maintaining detailed financial records. u2022 Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders. u2022 Prior experience in an accounting or finance support role is preferred.
