Description Position Overview: Robert Half is partnering with a manufacturing company in Peabody to identify a Senior Staff Accountant for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and reporting. Key Responsibilities: + Perform general ledger (G/L) accounting activities + Prepare and post journal entries + Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes + Handle invoicing and cash applications + Complete account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies + Assist with month-end and year-end close processes + Support financial reporting and analysis + Process ACH payments and maintain banking activity records Requirements Qualifications: + Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field + 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing + Strong understanding of G/L, reconciliations, and financial reporting + Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel + Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
