Mano Lani is an exceptionalindustry partner to the Department of Defense (DoD) and a leader inphysical and cyber security, IT management, logistics, supply chainmanagement, process improvement and development. The ApplicationsAdministrator for Windows provides comprehensive applicationadministration support for all Windows-hosted applications within theDefense Travel Management Office (DTMO) Enterprise Infrastructure. Thisposition is responsible for the full lifecycle management of GovernmentOff-The-Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications,including installation, testing, deployment, debugging, updating, eventlogging, and patching. The Applications Administrator for Windows servesas the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to DTMO for all supported Windowsapplications, providing technical guidance and support to DTMO users andIT managers. Key technologies supported include Windows Server, InternetInformation Services (IIS), Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL),and Splunk. The position requires monitoring the DTMO Passport websiteand applications during core business hours (0600 to 2200 Eastern Time,Monday through Friday) and providing on-call support formission-critical incidents outside of core hours. The ApplicationsAdministrator for Windows coordinates closely with DMDC IT SystemAdministrators to resolve infrastructure-related issues, supportsdisaster recovery testing, participates in Governance Board processes,and applies ITIL best practices for incident management and root causeanalysis. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Not listed in order ofimportance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to performthe following with minimal guidance or supervision:Install, test, deploy, debug, update, and patch DTMO GOTS and COTSapplications on Windows platformsTroubleshoot application concerns and respond to inquiries fromapplication usersSupport logging software that captures security events and feeds intoDMDC-approved softwareConfigure user access and monitor system stability and security throughthe software development lifecycleCoordinate with DMDC IT System Administrators to resolveinfrastructure-related issuesPerform application maintenance, review error logs, and resolve reportederrorsProvide technical support and guidance to DTMO users and IT managersSupport setting up external connections, whitelisting activities, portand protocols, submission requests, and validationsDevelop and maintain technical documents such as network diagrams,standard operating procedures, and ports and protocols listsSupport Governance Board processes including documentation development,change request review, level of effort estimates, impact assessments,and stakeholder coordinationSupport disaster recovery tests to reinstate DTMO Passport websiteRestore normal operation after incidents, prepare root cause analysis,and apply ITIL best practicesRespond to production outages within 10 minutes by notifying governmentIT managerRequirementsQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must beable to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
