RGP is seeking a highly analytical, process-driven Strategic Finance Consultant to support a global technology clientu2019s strategic growth initiatives. This role will be instrumental in building high-velocity, scalable, and dynamic financial models crucial for evaluating the financial viability of new pursuits/deals and long-term strategic investments, driving a strategic and impactful long-range plan, and delivering rigorous, data-driven insights to inform executive decision-making. This is a high-impact consulting engagement designed for a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at financial modeling and long-range planning, and can clearly translate complex analyses into actionable strategy and crisp documentation. W2 Hourly Rate: $65-85/hr depending on level of experience Duration: 6+ months with the opportunity for project extension Location: remote with ability to support Pacific Time Zone stakeholders + Build and refine advanced financial models, including what if analysis, scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and long-range forecasts. + Evaluate the financial viability of new strategic pursuits, deals, and long-term investments. + Develop and maintain dynamic dashboards, trackers, and performance reporting using Excel and Google Sheets. + Analyze KPIs, trends, and variances to surface insights and opportunities for improvement. + Act as a trusted finance partner to Sales, Operations, Strategy, and executive leadership. + Clearly communicate financial results, risks, trade-offs, and recommendations to non-finance stakeholders. + Support broader Finance initiatives through targeted analyses of market trends, competitive dynamics, deal economics, and internal resource allocation, especially during peak planning cycles. + Explore opportunities to leverage automation, scalable processes, and emerging AI solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and speed of financial workflows. + 8+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Deal Desk, or Management Consulting. + Technology industry experience REQUIRED, ideally in a Cloud or SaaS-based environment. + Prior experience partnering closely with Sales or Deal Desk is a strong plus. + Advanced financial modeling expertise, including scenario analysis, what if modeling, forecasting, and long-range planning. + Ability to synthesize large, complex datasets into clear insights without losing critical detail. + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (complex modeling, dashboards, trackers). + Experience with financial reporting and analytics; SQL or BigQuery exposure is a plus. + Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to u201ctell the storyu201d behind the numbers. + Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional and senior stakeholders. + Highly self-directed, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating with minimal supervision. + Adaptable to changing priorities and fast-moving business needs. + Curious mindset with interest in leveraging AI and automation to enhance finance processes. + An inspirational place for you to do your best work, be engaged in meaningful ways, and continually develop the skills, competencies and qualities that set our team apart. + Compensation commensurate with your qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market and operational factors. + Total Rewards include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Professional Development Program, Paid Time Off and Paid Sick Time (in geographies where legally required).
