Description We are looking for an experienced Sr. Software Engineer to join our team in northwest Houston. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in supporting, configuring, and optimizing the Manhattan Active Warehouse Management System (WMS) within a dynamic enterprise IT environment. This role demands a blend of technical expertise and functional knowledge to enhance warehouse operations and streamline processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Configure, support, and enhance the Manhattan Active Warehouse Management System to meet business needs and improve operational efficiency. u2022 Develop and manage system extensions and execute integrations using RESTful APIs and the Manhattan integration framework. u2022 Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing post-implementation support and performance tuning. u2022 Automate processes to optimize warehouse operations, including inventory management, labor optimization, and shipping. u2022 Design and generate ad hoc reports and dashboards using Manhattan tools, with a focus on actionable insights. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that align with warehouse management goals and strategies. u2022 Utilize tools such as Postman for scripting and ProActive for system configurations. u2022 Create Jasper reports and design labels using JMagic to meet specific operational requirements. u2022 Facilitate meetings and communicate technical concepts effectively to stakeholders at all organizational levels. u2022 Travel as needed to project sites and distribution facilities to support implementation and troubleshooting efforts. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of techno-functional experience with Manhattan Active Warehouse Management System. u2022 Proficiency in C#, .NET, React.js, JavaScript, and ASP.NET for technical development. u2022 Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management. u2022 Hands-on experience with Manhattan WMS integration points and payload structures. u2022 Familiarity with tools like Postman, Jasper reports, and JMagic label design. u2022 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges. u2022 Strong interpersonal skills to build collaborative relationships and effectively communicate technical concepts. u2022 Manhattan Associates MA Active certification is preferred.
