We put the unity in 'opportunity.'Opportunity Snapshot:Compensation: $69-83/hourLocation: Midland, TXAssignment Duration: 12 months+Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+Benefits: Comprehensive insurance with 401(k), PTO and holidaysBe an Area engineer for operations for a specific plant area. 8+ years’ experience requestedWorks in a team with other Facilities engineers, Site Contact & Lead Engineers to support assigned operations area and gain knowledge/exposure to other areas of plantConducts Monthly Facilities Surveillance of area driven KPI'sProvides operations support for changes, repairs & alterations of all plant pressure equipment (including piping, static equipment, rotating equipment, tanks etc.)Provides shutdown engineering supportParticipates in area Risk Assessment, HAZOP's, Hazard Hunts, Critical Operating Parameter Reviews.Leads incident investigations (downtime, process safety related)Support Opportunity management-identification of opportunities and development of scope of work for projectsRisk assessments on new facility projects, existing facilities and closure of mitigating action itemsLeads performance testing and plant based trialsDevelops operating guidelines for facilitiesCoaching and mentoring of fellow and junior colleaguesProject execution and troubleshooting experience neededWater treatment/facilities experience a plusPipeline hydraulic, pump design experiencePSSR support through commissioning - Field time requiredCommunication, project management, strong technical background in water related (pumps, pipelines) applications a plusBachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil, or Electrical Mechanical Engineering or related engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experienceExtensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteriaAbility to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in prioritiesProficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programsRead, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communicationsClean driving record and valid driver's licenseMust be local to Midland, within 50 miles of the work site.Ability to work 50/50 in office and in the fieldHigh School diploma or GED requiredThe Bergaila Way:The Bergaila Companies is a nationally recognized leader in providing staffing services to all sectors of the energy industry.
