We put the unity in 'opportunity.'Opportunity Snapshot:Compensation: $100/hourLocation: Spring, TXAssignment Duration: 12 months+Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+Benefits: Comprehensive insurance with 401(k), PTO and holidaysInterpret well logs, core, cuttings, seismic, and production trends across key Delaware benchesEvaluate reservoir quality trends, TOC trends, porosity/permeability distributions, overpressure systems, and geomechanical contrast between benchesBuild and maintain high resolution subsurface models that capture characteristic structural complexity, rock-fabric heterogeneity, and rapid facies changesRecommend drilling targets and development plans for multi well pads, including bench selection, landing depth, and spacing/stacking recommendations.Assess reservoir connectivity, depletion, and parent/child interference.Analyze offset well results and integrate geological models with reservoir and completions engineering to guide analog selection and type curve refinementProvide real time support as needed for geosteering active wellsDevelop well prognoses, geo hazard maps, and structural predictions for operational planning and participate in drilling design reviewsConduct post drill analyses to validate interpretations and update models accordinglyWork closely with reservoir engineers on depletion modeling, pressure analysis, and EUR forecastingCoordinate with execution teams to minimize NPT and optimize designs via integrated rock mechanics interpretationsPresent technical findings, risks, and development recommendations to asset and technical leadership and multi disciplinary teamsBachelor’s degree in Geology, Geosciences, or related discipline (Master’s preferred)Minimum 5 years of unconventional development geoscience experience, with direct experience in the Delaware/Permian Basin strongly preferredProficiency in subsurface interpretation tools (e.g., Petrel & Kingdom)Demonstrated experience supporting unconventional drilling operationsStrong understanding of mixed clastic carbonate depositional systems, reservoir performance drivers, & multi-phase fluid behaviorDirect experience in the Delaware/Permian Basin with bench specific familiarity strongly preferredExperience with seismic interpretation & integration into unconventional reservoir characterizationKnowledge of geo-cellular modelling workflows within PetrelThe Bergaila Way:The Bergaila Companies is a nationally recognized leader in providing staffing services to all sectors of the energy industry.
