This role serves as an escalation point for the Service Desk, performs comprehensive onsite IT assessments, and supports server and virtual machine environments. The position requires frequent travel, after‑hours support availability, and strong hands‑on technical expertise across Windows, macOS, and enterprise infrastructure technologies.This role is ideal for a highly motivated IT professional who thrives in a dynamic, multi‑site environment and enjoys combining technical depth with customer‑facing support.Benefits:Medical, dental, vision, and life insuranceLong and short-term disabilityGenerous PTO and paid holidaysTraditional and Roth 401(k) optionsReferral Bonus ProgramKey Responsibilities:Field Services & DeploymentDeploy, configure, and support IT equipment at practice locations and headquarters, including servers, desktops, laptops, peripherals, and network-connected devicesPerform onsite installations and refreshes of PC and Mac systems, ensuring compliance with company standardsCoordinate IT equipment rollouts, relocations, and decommissions across multiple sitesOnsite IT AssessmentsConduct comprehensive onsite IT practice assessments to evaluate infrastructure, hardware, software, and security postureIdentify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities; document findings and recommend remediation plansPartner with IT leadership to standardize and improve onsite IT environmentsOnsite Support & Field CoverageProvide on-site IT support for local DFW practices and remote sites as neededTravel frequently to support multi‑site operations, including potential out‑of‑state locationsServe as a trusted technical resource for end users, vendors, and leadership at supported locationsAdvanced & Tier 3 SupportAct as Tier 3 escalation support for the Service Desk, resolving complex hardware, software, and infrastructure issuesDiagnose and resolve advanced Windows, macOS, and networking issuesProvide root cause analysis and contribute to long‑term resolution strategiesServer & Virtual Infrastructure SupportSupport Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCPAssist with server and virtual machine provisioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and patchingCollaborate with infrastructure and security teams on system reliability and performanceDocumentation & Process ImprovementCreate and maintain clear technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articlesTrack work, changes, and assets using IT service management and documentation toolsProvide suggestions to improve processes based on support experience.On‑Call & After‑Hours SupportProvide after‑hours and weekend support as required to maintain business continuityRequired Qualifications:4+ years of experience in IT Support, Field Services, or Infrastructure rolesIntermediate to strong experience with:Windows Server environmentsActive Directory administrationWindows OS and macOS supportPC and workstation installations and troubleshootingDemonstrated experience supporting users onsite across multiple locationsStrong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a field‑based roleWillingness and ability to travel frequently, including occasional out‑of‑state travelValid driver’s licensePreferred Qualifications:Industry certifications such as:CompTIA A+CompTIA Network+ITIL FoundationExperience supporting dental, clinical, or multi‑practice environments (preferred)Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, or similar)Experience working in hybrid or enterprise IT environmentsPhysical & Work Requirements:Ability to lift and move IT equipment up to 75 lbsAbility to work in office, clinical, and field environmentsAvailability for after‑hours and weekend supportMB2 Dental Solutions, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.INDHRM200
